Mariah and Jlo probably have the most iconic feud ever.
During the Glitter Era, Mariah's Ex-husband (Tommy) who was also the CEO of her record company reportedly stole the 'Firecracker' sample Mariah wanted to use for 'Loverboy' and gave it to Jlo instead, not only that, the idea for a duet in which a singer and a rapper 'talk-sing' back and forth was originally Mariah's idea and can be heard on 'If We', Tommy also snatched this idea right from under her and used it on Jlo and pushed out 'I'm Real'. Both songs featured Ja Rule.
Now, apparently Jlo has her manager on a 'No Mariah' clause, her manager (Medina) apparently wanted to manage Mariah but Jlo did not allow it. Jlo scored her Idol and Vegas gig under his management while Mariah scored her's under many different managers (messy era). Medina's management company responded saying he wasn't contractual restricted from managing other artists, Mariah's camp was pretty much unaware of anything.
